Spring Tutor Information Session

Do you have two free hours a week? Are you compassionate, eager, and energetic? If you answered yes please contact our office to register for the Tutor Information Session.

Lifelong learning is important for economic prosperity and personal growth. Raising the literacy levels of Canadians is one of the most important ways to encourage lifelong learning. To find out more about tutoring our learners, please join us:

When: Tuesday February 12, 2019

Time: 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.

Where: Burlington Public Library New Appleby Branch (corner of Appleby and Fairview Street)

Please call our office at 905-631-1770 to register. The Tutor Workshops will take place on both Saturday March 23 and Saturday March 30 from 9:30 AM- 4:00 PM at Burlington Public Library, Central Branch,Holland Room, Burlington.

Please note if accepted, participation and attendance at two Saturday workshop sessions is mandatory to become certified as a “Laubach tutor”, a valid police check is required, including a $20.00 annual membership fee payable at the workshop. A brief interview will also be conducted before the workshops.
